Justice and Care - Charity Dinner, 2017 in London - Raised over 150,000 GBP
India captain Virat Kohli on Monday hosted a charity ball in London for the Justice and Care organisation. The charity event was attended by former India captain Sachin Tendulkar and Kohli’s teammates Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan along with other members of the Indian team and it was hosted by renowned cricket presenter Alan Wilkins.
The Justice and Care organisation raises funds for the fight against human trafficking. Donations help in providing legal advice, counselling, medical care, education and rescue and rehabilitation.
Smile Foundation Charity Dinner, 2016 in Mumbai - Raised over Rs. 1 Crore
Virat Kohli Foundation joined with Smile Foundation, to support the cause of empowerment of underprivileged children and youth. As a first step towards this endeavour, Virat hosted a one-ofits-kind charity dinner at Hyatt Regency, Mumbai, and was joined by his colleagues Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh, Ajinkay Rahane, KL Rahul to support the cause of children and youth empowerment.
This uber luxury-experiential evening had a five course Michelin starred dinner curated by Chef Vikas Khanna for 200 influencers which included the likes of Akash Ambani, Gautam Singhania, Nandita Mehtani, Archana Kochhar, Tara Sharma, Nikhil Chaturvedi, Mr. Digvijay Singh Kathiwada to name a few.

Pratham Council for Vulnerable Children (PCVC) is the child rights and protection wing of Pratham. The mission of this unit is “Every Child’s Rights Protected, Every Child in School and Learning Well.” Established in the year 2000, PCVC has grown from being an organization focused on working with child labourers and children in difficulty, to a rights-based resource organization, working on the broad issues of protection and safeguarding of children’s rights.
Old Age Home Abhalmaya Visit in Pune 2016 - Donation of Rs. 11 Lakhs
In his bid to give something back to the society, India’s Test captain Virat Kohli’s Foundation has joined hands with ABIL Foundation to extend help to Old Age Home ‘Abhalmaya’, which is currently home to 57 senior citizens. Abhalmaya, on Sinhagad Road has been set up by Dr Aparna Deshmkukh could not believe themselves, when they found Kohli personally coming to meet them.
Kohli along with Amit Bhosle of ABIL Foundation dropped into meet the residents yesterday. The Virat Kohli Foundation and ABIL Foundation will extend immediate help to Abhalmaya to end its financial crunch.
