- One of the brightest tennis players in the country, Sumit Nagal is a junior Wimbeldon doubles champion, winning the tournament in 2015.
- Nagal was inducted into VKF in the year 2017.

- He made his Grand Slam debut in 2019 at the U.S Open against Roger Federer.
